There are two national parks, Exuma Cays Land and Sea Park and Moriah Harbor Cay National Park, which are wonders with all they hold. There are also stunning sandbars, Thunderball Grotto, the Blow Hole at Boise Cay, and ancient stromatolites that we can explore.

Our honeymoon in The Exumas will be enhanced with the adventure of enjoying marine tours. We will take a harbor tour and ride a 40-foot schooner or take part in glass-bottom boat excursion for a half-day. There are also full-day sightseeing cruises through the Cays so we can visit all of the interesting sites.

Miles of cays and hidden coves make for some of the most spectacular sailing and boating in The Bahamas. With six full-service marinas, we will choose from an array of excursions and cruises including power boating expeditions, a castaway trip to a secluded island, picnics on a sandbar in the middle of the ocean, and more. The Exumas are a haven for yachters with its many sheltered islets and coves, promising us unforgettable moments spent on our honeymoon!

Our honeymoon in The Exumas will keep us entertained from dusk to dawn! Nightclubs and bars at hotels and lodges provide most of the evening entertainment. There may be a live band performing where we are staying on some nights during the winter season. Live music can also be found during Happy Hour at some of the nightclubs and other local hangouts, while dining in one of the restaurants or at the Fish Fry in George Town. Some places offers a very laid-back experience, usually with a night of Goombay, Rake & Scrape, karaoke, and dance music, plus nightly games.

With your lovely wedding gift, we will discover the stunning sights of our honeymoon paradise. In The Exumas, we can visit quaint fishing villages, the historic towns of Rolle Town, Rolleville (the site of a revolt led by a famous slave named Pompey), Forbes Hill and Williams Town to see ruins of old cotton plantations and colonial tombs. We can stroll around George Town and stop at Elizabeth Harbour and Lake Victoria, cross over to Stocking Island and climb up a sand dune to the old navigational beacon or we can visit White Leaf Cay and Allan’s Cay where tame iguanas come right up to us and eat from our hands.

Canoeing and kayaking is a lovely wedding gift on our tropical honeymoon in The Exumas.
